Nathalie Schmidt serves the Center for Local Planning as an associate division planner in East Tennessee. Previously, she was a senior planner in Oak Ridge and in Greenville, S.C. Most recently, she was a re-industrialization manager for RSI Entech, Inc., as part of UCOR, LLC. 

She received her bachelor's degree in architecture from Georgia Tech and a master's degree in urban planning from the University of Washington.
