Kimberly joined the University of Tennessee County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS) in January 2004 and brings more than two decades of extensive public sector experience to her role. Prior to joining CTAS, she worked with the Administrative Office of the Tennessee Supreme Court as a conference coordinator. She also served as a retirement specialist and marketing representative with the Tennessee Department of Treasury. In addition, she has experience as a correctional officer with Corrections Corporation of America.
Kimberly holds a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in criminal justice from Tennessee State University. She earned the Certified Professional in Training Management designation in 2021 and completed her Master of Arts in leadership and public service at Lipscomb University in 2022. She also holds various other training certificates and has a strong passion for county government and public service.
In 2026, Kimberly launched the IPS Bookstore of Knowledge, an shared, internal resource designed to support continuous learning and knowledge sharing among Institute for Public Service staff.
