Jon Walden becomes the sixth executive director in the history of the County Technical Assistance Service.

2018

Rick Scarbrough becomes executive director of the Law Enforcement Innovation Center on August 1.

The Tennessee Language Center becomes a part of the Institute for Public Service in July.

2017

Margaret Norris is named executive director of the Municipal Technical Advisory Service

2016

Dr. Macel Ely named executive director of the Naifeh Center for Effective Leadership.

Dr. Herb Byrd III is named  Vice President of Public Service

2015

CIS is awarded once again with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership contract.

2014

Vice President Dr. Mary Jinks announces her retirement; Dr. Herb Byrd, III named interim vice president
